This is an "aloha" style painting with a polynesian setting on an old custom Agua surfboard shaped by local Leucadia shaper/owner Rod Sorenson of Agua Surfboards . We lost Rod a few years ago to cancer and I did this in his memory.  I knew Rod and his wife Donna well as he shaped my boards from 1977 til 1999 when he retired.  RIP Rod.
